Since opening in 2016, The Royal Mint Experience has quickly become one of the must-do attractions in South Wales. From award winning tours and exhibitions to extraoardinary events, this is an experience curious minds of all ages can enjoy. 

Guided Factory Tour Includes 

• Tour of our circulating coin production process: Please allow 45 minutes.
• Free Time To explore Our Exhibition: Following your guided Exhibition Tour you are free to browse our award-winning exhibition at your own leisure. 

You will also have the opportunity to Strike Your Own Coin at an additional cost of £7.95 per coin. 

Exhibition Only Tickets Include:

• Entry to our Exhibition: Browse our award-winning exhibition at your own leisure. 

Please note, Strike Your Own coin is not available with Exhibition Only Tickets.

Our exhibition is self-lead for you to enjoy at your own leisure. 

With this ticket option, you are welcome to arrive at a time of your choice between 10am and 3:15pm. 

This ticket allows entry only into our exhibition. The guided factory experience and 'strike your own coin' are not available with this ticket.

Please note, our exhibition closes at 4:15pm daily. 

Join us on our Autism Friendly Tours!

We've amended our regular tour to accommodate those with Autism by reducing sensory triggers such as reducing the noise in our exhibition and removing any bright or flashing lights during the tour. We've reduced the capacity of our tours to ensure nobody feels overcrowded, and our tours will also be extended to provide additional time to process information in each room of your tour. 

These tours take place on the first Sunday of the month.

Important information:

• Please allow 45 minutes for this tour and an additional 30 minutes afterwards in our exhibition.
• The use of cameras and recording equiptment are prohibited in most areas of the tour. Please follow your guide's instructions and ask if unsure. 
• Toilet facilities are available before and after the tour, but not during the tour in factory areas. We encourage all guests to make use of the facilities before their tour departs. 
• Please let your tour guide know if there is anything they can do to make your visit more comfortable, they'll be happy to help!
