About the session:
Learn key techniques to create your own watercolour illustration with this course for beginners and intermediates.
Be inspired by the beautiful Autumn harvest, dormouse and red squirrels that feature on the new definitive coins of the UK. In this workshop we will use watercolour paints and fine liner pens to draw and paint an array of pumpkins, then using the techniques learnt to progress onto woodland animals.
Whether you are new to drawing or a budding illustrator, Ellie will guide you through key techniques. You will have the chance to experiment with one-on-one guidance and support to create your own watercolour illustration, which you can then frame or make into a card.

- Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolour 24 Half Pan Metal paint
- Sakura Pigma Micron Fine liner pen
- 4B Faber Castell pencil
- Watercolour paint brush

- 3 hour watercolour class
- Tea or coffee on arrival

Ellie is an illustrator and stationery producer from Cardiff, Wales. She set up Ellie Hooi Illustration to create and share handmade watercolour illustrations, and to make greeting cards that would bring a smile to someone’s day through the joy of a handwritten card.
